Bots have no public user counter — only the owner knows that number, and a bot's own reply cannot be measured from outside without signing in to Telegram. So we check that the bot exists and its page opens, and look at how widely channels link to it.
The second measurable value is mention reach: total views of posts in public channels that link to the bot. Mentions are harder to manage than a catalogue description, so they show more reliably whether a bot is in use. In this category such mentions were found for 1229 bots.
