Cities & Regions on Telegram
We check every object in the category by querying Telegram and rank on what we measured. The score is a position inside this category, not an absolute grade.
Inside the Cities & Regions category
The category holds 38 channels, and 38 of them answer our check. Every object is checked automatically, and the date of the last check is shown on its card.
Audience size across the channels here varies widely: from 1 to 9.5K subscribers, median 41. That is why the order in the list follows reach relative to audience rather than raw size — a large channel with sluggish views sits below a small one people actually read.
Engagement rate is median views divided by subscriber count. In this category it runs from 1.2% to 65500.0%, with a median of 579.5%. Below 2% usually means a dead audience; above 100% means posts travel through forwards well beyond the subscriber base.
The category is currently led by “ASEAN Centre in MGIMO” with a score of 55. The score is a position inside this same category, not an absolute grade: comparing it with the score of an object from another category makes no sense, because the samples differ. The formula is public — anyone can recompute it.
If the channel you are after is missing, it may simply not have been crawled yet. The catalogue grows on its own: we pick up names from public mentions and open lists, check each one against Telegram and add the live ones. How to add or remove an object.
